First Texas Customers Receive Tesla Cybertrucks Directly from Elon Musk

Tesla just handed over the very first batch of Cybertrucks to their excited customers at the Texas Gigafactory. It was quite the event, marking the official delivery of these highly anticipated vehicles straight from the production line.

Elon Musk didn’t reveal the prices for the Cybertruck at the event, but they showed up on Tesla’s website afterward.

The starting price for the base model sits at $60,990, while the all-wheel-drive option goes for $79,990, and the top-tier “Cyberbeast” version stands at $99,990.

During the event, Musk emphasized the truck’s towing power, speed, and payload capacity, putting it head-to-head against a Porsche 911 on a race track and an F-150 in a towing challenge.

Tesla’s design chief, Franz von Holzhausen, did a demonstration by throwing a rock at the Cybertruck window. Unlike the mishap during the 2019 unveiling, this time, the window didn’t break.

Elon Musk quipped, “It’s practically rock-proof,” humorously suggesting that if there’s ever a clash with another vehicle, the Cybertruck would come out on top.

The demonstration was all about proving just how tough the vehicle’s windows are.

Since its reveal four years ago, the Cybertruck’s standout design and features have really grabbed people’s attention.
